Where the Sea and the Sky blends in perfectly

    My Boracay Experience…

Are you one of these people who counts how many days it has been since something happened… like, it has been 24 hours already since last week, how fast has the time went? Well.. I hope someone out there thinks the same way, or else i’d pretty feel anxious about it.

Anyway.. it has been a week since I arrived there. It was definitely a great weekend for me regardless of the so much school works waited for me. We arrived at night, so technically, I was not able to witness its beauty when I set foot.

The first night was a whirl wind.. there were things I can’t remember. But sure do, it was full of laughter. I just really can’t tell the story publicly. Or else…

Next morning, I was astonished with how the sea and the sky blends in together so perfectly. Too pretty for my eyes. I could sit down on its fine sand for hours while just staring on the beach. I’m also so happy with how many foreigners come to visit the island. Now I can really believe that Boracay is world class.

We just had helmet diving that day (I got scared with the water pressure and how the big fish(es) try to eat the bread on my hand :( ). Then spent eating the whole day. Partied at Guilly’s at night again. My first time to try the shisha. HAHAHA. Okay, too much, first times for me. I’m such a loser, no?

The next day was our water sports day… was able to try banana boat, fly fish (the f*ck that made my body hurt so much but all worth it) and speed boat. Urgh, why is parasailing too expensive? I badly badly wanted to try that.

At night, it was just perfect. too serene. too chill. just so perfect for our last night. I can’t believe I had to leave after a few hours. :(

And oh, the Jonah’s shake they were talking about was GREAT. :) Heehee

I must really really come back and be WILLLLD. :))

    Boracay <3

I’ve been to so much places except Boracay so, when I got the chance to do so (long weekend for Thomasians) I pulled my friends to come with me… So let me show my first time through photos and captions.

I really find people who fire dances super HOT. Beyond hot, actually. :)) Must learn.

Whenever I get influenced by alcohol, I do this. :|

Don’t they just look alike? :))

Probablt this is the best photo our group has on this trip. Don’t you think? :)

My first Gelato ever! I really can’t differentiate though.. :(

Coco Mangas 15 shots challenge. My friend, Jessa, was able to finish it in less than 3 minures. *bow*

Sunset cruise. Probably the most relaxing thing we’ve done in our stay. Its a must for everyone to try this.

I seem not to find photos of our helmet diving, banana boat and fly fish…plus facebook gives all the photos a bad resolution. :( Boracay, i’ll come back before you know it.

    Zark’s Burger

I bet most of you, especially the people who study in Taft, heard about this burger…Well, I dined here with my mother, sister and my boyfriend (when we were dropping him to school), it was almost dinner so we decided to taste the craze.

I really specifically told them that we all had to order different burgers so that we’ll be able to taste most of them.

In the photo: Zark’s burger, Barbeque burger with caramelized onions, triple cheese burger and hotdog sausage.

Okay, I really forgot about their names but basically thats what they were. :| HAHAHA. The burgers were big, enough to make you satiated. I’d rather dine here than McDo or what since its almost the same price but much better burgers. :)

    Yin and Yang

I shall say… this newly opened restaurant beside its sister company ‘Cafe Ysabel’ in Wilson st. Greenhills… is one of the best reasonably priced chinese restaurants here in the metro.

In the photo: Salt and Pepper Spareribs (with roasted chili), Steamed fish in Asparagus, Yin Yang Fried Rice, Cold tofu with Century egg and floss, and Seafood spinach soup (not in the picture).

I would recommend everything that i ordered except for the steamed fish because its typical, nothing really great about it. But the rest, beyond exceptional especially the cold tofu. *craving*

I’ve been really busy this past few weeks due to our midterms… I can’t believe that I actually finished 14 exams this week. Oh God, I swear, our exams were no joke. Majority of them were ridiculously hard. But fingers are crossed.

Maybe, its not the right time.

I’m writing (typing) this for the sake that 10 years from now or so, I have something to look back and remember how lucky I am to get so much opportunities in life.

This week has been a whirlwind. I had my ups and downs. Well, to be exact, I am really in love being in the council now. I love the extra stress it gives me. I just simply love the feeling of having so much little time yet so much things to accomplish. I love how it feels after a day when I get to tell myself how much i’ve done today. Something I won’t exchange for anything.

Unfortunately, in Politics, your career is not necessarily in your hands but your party. To make long story short… I can no longer run for our local council. Honestly, it devastated me until I received an opportunity to run for Central Student Council Vice President of UST. Woah, thats a big big big pending responsibility if ever.

There were many who said ‘Go for it’ and many who said ‘to not go for it’. Indeed, there are its pros and cons. But I decided not to take the opportunity, not because i dont want it- because I want it. But because I feel like i’m not ready for the responsibility yet. I dream of becoming a cum laude, and I am an inch away from that dream. I have to get my priorities straight. My studies are not something to gamble about.

Maybe now, is not the right time.

A year or 10 years from now, I wonder if this is something I will regret about but definitely, I feel good about my decision now.

    A ‘little’ Get Together

So about a week before the party… we received an e-invitation via Facebook. My friend, Darrel, said that since he is here in Manila for a few days he will be hosting a little get together for us. Little did we know, when we got to his place. He got catered food, rented a mobile bar, lights and sounds. We were all, “little huh?” then moments after… his fireworks display started. So much for being a little get together. Heehee!

We were few who were able to come since most are studying abroad or had their own previous appointments. Nevertheless, I had fun with this people whom I missed to the bones. :)
